Current Position: Graduate Assistant at Northern Arizona University

 Joshua Hartgrove is a Graduate Assistant with the NAU Band Department pursusing a Master of Music Degree in Instrumental Conducting. Joshua received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a minor in Sociology, summa cum laude, from Samford University in 2001. As an undergraduate, Joshua was listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, and was named the Thomas Presser Scholar for the year 2000. As a graduate student, Joshua has been inducted into the National Scholastic Honor Society and the Golden Key International Honour Society. He is also a member of Pi Kappa Lambda National Scholastic Music Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and an honorary member of Kappa Kappa Psi. Before coming to NAU, Joshua taught band for five years at McAdory Middle and High School in McCalla, Alabama, where his marching and concert bands recieved superior ratings. A native of North Carolina, Joshua currently resides in Flagstaff, Arizona with his wife, Nancy.
